At Birkbeck Primary School we are developing confident, successful children with a natural love of learning, through setting high aspirations and an inspirational curriculum where everybody is valued.

We have created our vision from our ethos, taking into account the values expressed by children, staff, parents and governors.

Our motto

Our school motto Dream, Believe and Achieve supports the hardworking and collaborative ethos at Birkbeck Primary School. We have high aspirations of all of our pupils.

Everyone – staff and children – are encouraged to work hard with high levels of expectation in the spirit of co-operation and consideration. Our goal is to develop self respect and in turn respect for others and our surroundings; creating responsible and accepting citizens for the future. If children believe, they can achieve.

Our Values

Our school values are the things that we believe in and determine how we behave and live 




In practice, this means that everyone in our school community will:

1. Value each other as individuals: celebrating their achievements and supporting their individual needs within a framework of equality.
