Sports Premium
The Sports Premium initiative has evolved from the legacy of the Olympics. Every child is entitled to 2 hours per week of physical exercise. Currently at Birkbeck Primary, each child receives an Indoor and Outdoor PE session. The Government are issuing schools with £16,000 and an additional payment of £10 per pupil to promote PE and physical activity.
